Speaker: Gail Main. Gail will discuss the habits to develop in manual testing that will continue when testing is automated, and follow through into automated testing and practices to follow.
Gail has been working in the computer industry for 30 years. She has done everything from computer operations to mainframe installation. She has been directly involved in Quality full time for 10 years. She holds 6 certificates from the American Society for Quality including the Six Sigma Black Belt. She also teaches a preparation course for the Certified Software Quality Engineer. Gail has worked for Compuware Corporation for 14 years and has been working in Ford QA/QC for the last 5 of those years.

Speaker: Steven Fox. In June 2008, Searchsecurity.com reported that SQL Injection attacks were culpable for compromising approximately 600,000 websites. As the use of automated attack techniques increases, site owners must devise strategies to deal with this risk. Steven will explore the factors that enable this vulnerability and the techniques used to exploit it. The discussion points will be demonstrated using a web application demo. Lastly, he will discuss prevention and remediation strategies to employ in your environment.
Steven F. Fox is a Senior IT Auditor with GM Audit Services. Mr. Fox holds a Masters in Business Information Technology from Walsh College, an NSA recognized Center of Excellence. He serves on the board of the Detroit ISSA chapter and is a columnist for the ISSA Journal.
